T&Cs – Applicable to The Hunger Games #CineworldUnite Private Screening Competition By entering the Cineworld Twitter and Instagram Hunger Games #CineworldUnite Private Screening Competition you will be deemed to accept these T&Cs.

1. All instructions in the relevant Cineworld Tweet relating to this competition form part of these T&Cs.

2. Participants must be a UK, Jersey or EIRE resident to participate. Participants under 18 years old may be asked for proof of the consent of a parent or legal guardian to claim tickets. This competition is not available to employees of Cineworld.

3. The competition opens at 5pm on 06.11.15 and closes at 23:59pm on 19.11.15. Entries received outside of this time period will not be considered.

4. No purchase is necessary; however, internet access and a valid Twitter or Instagram accounts are required. Entry to the competition is free and entered through either Tweeting or Instagraming us a photo of themselves or a group of friends, and using the hashtag #CineworldUnite.

5. By entering, Participants confirm that they have obtained the consent of any person/friends that appears in the photo that has been uploaded.

6. Participants must only submit images that are their own work;

7. Participants must only upload images that do not infringe or violate the rights of any third party, including but not limited to, ownership, copyrights, trademarks, patents, logos, licensing rights, rights of publicity or privacy or any other intellectual property rights;

8. The person that uploads the photo on Twitter or to Instagram is considered to be the participant, any other person in the photo will not have any rights to the prize.

9. The promoter will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.

10. Only one entry per person is permitted.

11. There will be one (1) winner who will win a private screening of all 4 Hunger Games movies for themselves and 10 friends, plus a £200 giftcard for the one (1) winner to spend on refreshments. The winner will be chosen based on the most creative entry and in accordance with these T&Cs. The winner will be chosen by an independent judge (or a panel of Cineworld staff including one independent member) whose name will be available on request, and will take place on or after 21.11.15.

12. The entries will be judged according to the following criteria: i) Creativity and originality of the image; and ii) Composition and connection to Hunger Games in the image.

13. Entries will be rejected if they: i) have not been uploaded specifically for the promotion; ii) contain defamatory, malicious, indecent, immoral or other inappropriate content including sexist or racist language or imagery, iii) include the names, likenesses, photographs or similar of any individual without their express permission; iv) condone or encourage violent or anti-social behaviour; v) cause offence on the ground of religion, gender, sexual orientation, nudity, disability or age; or have negative attitudes about the promoter or any of its related partners.

14. Participants agree that Cineworld may post the participants images on Facebook to promote Hunger Games only and subject to express consent from the participants.

15. The promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

16. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.

17. The winner will be notified by direct message on Twitter or Instagram, within 7 working days of the competition closing date, and will be given details of how to claim the prize.

18. Cineworld may announce the winner’s full name and county on Twitter and the winner(s) may be required to take part in publicity related to the competition. By entering this competition the winner(s) hereby agree to take part in any such publicity.

19. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or higher value. 

20. A paper copy of these T&Cs and/ or the name and county of winner(s) may be obtained by sending a request and stamped addressed envelope to the following address: The Hunger Games #CineworldUnite Private Screening Competition, Cineworld Cinemas Marketing Dept, Power Road Studios, 114 Power Road, London, W4 5PY.

21. Promoter is Cineworld Cinemas Limited, Power Road Studios, 114 Power Road, Chiswick, London W4 5PY. Cineworld reserves the right to (i) amend or withdraw these T&Cs at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the competition at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.

22. All data provided by entrants will be treated in line with Cineworld Cinema’s Privacy Policy (available on the Cineworld website at www.cineworld.com).

23. These T&Cs (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
